Our counseling services are aimed at all people living in Vienna and the surrounding area, especially people with migration experience and new immigrants.
Our counseling sessions are always confidential and anonymous if desired.
Our counseling languages are as follows: German, English, Kurdish and Turkish.

The advisors are transculturally competent and take into account the principles of diversity and gender mainstreaming.
The specific consultations are needs-oriented and are continuously adapted. Our counseling approach is solution-oriented and integrates the resources that clients bring with them.

Eltern-Kind-Pass neu (new advisory service)
Family counseling support as part of the new Eltern-Kind Pass, pilot phase for parent counseling was approved from September 2023 As part of the Parent-Child Pass, family advice centers will in future be able to provide advice to parents-to-be and new parents on the most important topics relating to the new phase of life, such as becoming parents – being parents; the challenges of life with a child and the demands of employment; sharing parental leave as partners, parental leave, childcare allowance, paternity leave, part-time parental leave, the effects of part-time work on pensions, pension splitting, returning to work for all families.

Parental counseling
Parental counseling according to § 95 para. 1a AußStrG.
With § 95 Para. 1a of the Austrian Non-Contentious Proceedings Act (AußStrG) introduced by the 2013 Act Amending the Law of Parents and Names (Kindschafts- und Namensrechtsänderungs-Gesetz 2013), parents must “seek advice from a counsellor or institution recognized by the Federal Ministry of Family and Youth on the specific needs of their minor children resulting from the divorce” before reaching an amicable settlement of the consequences of the divorce in court.
